Marlon Wayans New York reviews
Excellent
I would give this place 5 stars for sure. There’s a nice chill bar area to go and chill at before the show. You just have to remember any drinks consumed outside don’t count toward your 2 drink min at the table. I would recommend getting in the establishment a hour or more before your show. That gives you time to get a drink and use the restrooms before the crowd comes. Once the staff announces line up you can be right there and hop in front (we were seated for about a half hour and had drinks and food- went to use to restroom and there were women that had been standing outside with a line wrapped around the building the whole time.) That’s going to also help once you get seated. If you’re ordering food I would suggest doing that as soon as you are seated because the place fills up quickly. There are 4 to a table. It’s not overly crowded- you sit comfortably. I’ve been to many comedy clubs and I honestly think this one was my favorite! Will definitely be returning
Nonstop laughter
Marlon was great. Non stop laughter and did ‘real talk’. Appreciate him talking about family. Someone pulled the fire alarm 3/4 of the way into the show. We were outside for 5-10. Not bad. Some ppl didn’t come back thinking it was almost over however he came back and did another 45 min!! Very nice! Appreciate it!! The only thing is the venue at Wilbur- the tables in front- you’re sitting sideways. I suppose so they can fit a max. Amount of ppl. Not so comfortable. Strain on your neck. Been there plenty of times. May have to choose other seats next time
Marlon…IT’S A YES
I enjoyed the show! I appreciate that it pretty much started in time. Marlon was in stage within an hour. YES! The Host,DC, cracked me up. The second act, Alexis, she was new to comedy and her set was alright, I guess. I’m sure it’s not easy trying to make people laugh so I know she did a better job than I would have. Soo, I will say for her to just keep
At it…don’t give up.
Now Marlon…CRAZY FUNNY! I literally couldn’t keep my glasses on due to drying tears from so much laughing. I had never seen him in a live performance and I am so glad I had the opportunity in HTX!
